We are blessed with fabulous views across the Chilterns, a great network of Bridleways and our own farmland.  This allows us to offer what many consider to be some of the best hacking in the Chiltern Hills and perhaps in Southern England.  Although some of our routes are almost entirely 'off-road' most are a mixture of quiet country lanes and bridleways.  As we are located high in the Chilterns, all routes involve hills. In place the bridleways are steep, some of them are stony, most have the odd section where there are tree roots, or the path is narrow.  Depending on the weather and ground conditions, most routes have good opportunities for an uphill canter.   We think most fit horses are perfectly capable of tackling all or some of our routes and both they, and you, will enjoy the varied nature of our hacking.  Many clients return month after month to try different routes.
