Two ways to ride the Chilterns
We are a Bring Your Own Horse (BYOH) facility. Bring your horse and either explore on your own with our mapped routes, or let Ted or Jackie guide you.
Self guided rides
From £15A choice of 18 different circular routes from 1 to 5 hours riding time, to suit you and your horse - from entirely off-road to a mixture of bridleways, quiet lanes and grassy fields.
All self-guided routes are provided on a laminated map with a written talk-round, and on the OS Maps mobile app (recommended).

- Every other day - £19
- We will help you choose a suitable route on arrival
- Guests can join you - walking and mountain biking maps available (£5 charity donation for additional vehicles)

- Mounting block
- Wash off with bucket, sponges and sweat scraper

Private guided hacks
From £35 (2 people for 1 hour)Ideal for those gaining confidence or with nervous horses - or perhaps you just want a leisurely hack. We'll tailor the ride to your requirements: just walk and trot, or go for a real blast if ground conditions are suitable. It's up to you.
Ted or Jackie will guide you on one of their experienced, steady horses, pointing out local features along the way.

Standard departure is 10:30 from our yard - please arrive by 10:00 for tacking up. Other times can be arranged to suit your needs.
